Between August & September Mike & I were invited to not one, but three weddings. One of which was his childhood friend Todd's. Mike & Todd have been friends since they were 10 years old and Heather has been part of the gang since high school, after an 11 year courtship they finally took the plunge and got married! The wedding was in the suburbs of Chicago... since we had just been in town for vacation, flying up for the wedding a few weeks later wouldn't have been financially possible without Mike's saved up airline voucher. Unfortunately, both of our girls started school the week of the wedding, so we had no choice but to stay home. :( I was happy that Mike got to go, but I felt terrible that I missed our friends' big day. In the end, Mike had a great time, Todd & Heather were overjoyed that he was able to fly up and everyone missed ME. Thankfully, Mike took pictures for me. This is the only shot of the bride & groom together and it's just perfect. Todd & Heather look so happy! :)
