Saturday, was mine & Mike's 11th Wedding Anniversary. Mike put a few hours into work, I grocery shopped without the girls, Mikayla took a nap, Maddy played the Wii and we had a delicious family dinner. I admit our day was 'ordinary' for such a special occasion but it was wonderful. There's nothing better than hanging out at home our family, no matter what day it is. Home is always where the heart is.
Mike did surprise me with this new gadget for our Anniversary, a Blu-ray player! We've been talking about buying one for months but I wasn't expecting him to bring it home this weekend! Our friend got Mike a great deal through his family's business and he let us borrow a few of his movies: Star Trek, Speed Racer and Transformers. Each movie is STUNNING in 50"1080p quality... especially Speed Racer! WOW! Our friend also helped us pick out a surround sound system to complete our "home theater". Watching movies at home will be WAY better than paying to see them at our local Cineplex! Happy Anniversary to us!
Reservations for Schuth... our favorite dinner: steaks, garlic mashed potatoes & roasted veggies. After we got the girls into bed, Mike & I enjoyed some bubbly and cheesecake for dessert!
And Mike did buy me white roses. We carried & wore white roses on our Wedding Day, 11 years ago. Double digits, I can't believe it!
