Last night was the annual Fall Pow Wow at Maddy's school. The Pow Wow of course, is great opportunity for families and students to have fun at school after hours and of course to raise funds for future school activities.
Let the good times roll!
Each teacher created a game for the students and families to play. The school sells 20 tickets for $5. The games average 3-4 tickets which make them $1 each... affordable family fun that benefits VES and it's students! Maddy tried her luck at every game! She really enjoyed her teacher Ms. Betts' Recycle Toss game, Ms Banks' Golf Putt game, Ms. DiPillo's Sponge Bob Sponge Toss game and the driving a remote control car on the VESCAR raceway!
Of course no Fall Festival or Pow Wow is complete with out a bouncy house! Both Maddy & Mikayla bounced away!
Maddy got a temporary tattoo for 2 tickets!
Mikayla had blue lips from a sucker Maddy won as a prize and shared! Coincidentally, Maddy had blue lips from a blue raspberry snow cone from Ms. Betts' 'Snowie' stand! Mikayla had a pina colada flavored snow cone which was colorless and didn't stain her cute dress!

After we were done playing games at the Pow Wow, the girls played on the school playground and swung on the swings.
The girls had fun AND had their fill of sugary snacks!
After we left Mike & I treated the girls to Happy Meals at Mc Donald's! Their most favorite treat of all!

How cute! I love that last picture of the girls! Looks like you had a lot of room for your Pow Wow! GGES Fall festival was Friday too. They have it in the bus loop. It's the same type of gathering. I think the tickes are 5 for $1 if you buy them in advance at school then 4 for $1 if you bought them there. Lot's of fun!
How funny about the pina colada snow cone. I used to get Maranda the white cherry icee when she was little for the same reason. No staining!
