Condo Get-A-Way

 Mike, myself & the girls have been in dire need of a get-a-away. We love going to Mike's parents' condo, but our visits are always often too short, just when we've started to relax it's time to pack up and leave. This past weekend Mike took an extra day off of work, so we could stay for two whole days & two nights.  It was just what we needed!

We arrived Saturday night so that we'd be fresh & ready for fun first thing Sunday morning.  Allison, Mike & Cameron joined us just in time for breakfast.  And that fresh & ready thing?  Not so much, Mike & I stayed up till 3:30 am chatting with his Mom and watching an awesome lightning & thunderstorm, so we definitely needed coffee!

We spent the whole afternoon at the beach & the pool.  It was so relaxing!

No matter what they do, Cam & Mikayla have a ball together! 

Mike & Mike grilled us burgers & brats for dinner... Mmm Mmm..!

Mike & I were thrilled to be staying another night.  Normally we would've been rushing out the door with Mike & Allison for work and/or school the next day but not this time!  It was an overcast evening so our hopes for a pretty sunset were dwindling.  We headed down to beach anyway, and at the last minute the sun fell out of the clouds and lit up the sky.

We all enjoyed a sunset swim in the Gulf, we were amazed how calm the water was!

After sunset we jumped in the pool for a night swim.

The next day the weather was picture perfect.  We watched dolphins from the balcony while we sipped our morning coffee and spent the rest of the day on the beach and in the pool.  We hated to leave that evening but reality awaited.  We had such a great time we can't wait to plan the next condo get-a-way!
