Thanksgiving night we stayed with Auntie Allison, Uncle Mike and Cousin Cam. Friday morning, it was time for some more family fun! After a delicious pumpkin pancake breakfast we drove to Ergle's Christmas Tree Farm to pick out our Christmas trees together!

Mikayla rode with Cam in his Radio Flyer wagon!

Maddy was excited to be wearing one of Auntie's scarves!

In the field, looking for a tree to cut down...

After searching the farm field for a tree to cut down, we decided to pick one of the precut firs instead. They looked and smelled fabulous! It was just what we wanted our first real tree to be! Here's the girls in front of our Douglas Fir from North Carolina. Auntie Allison & Uncle Mike got a Douglas too!

It was a 110 miles from Ergle's to Venice! But before we could say goodbye, we went for lunch at Texas Roadhouse.

The girls were worn out! They both slept the whole way home!

Aww, what sweet pictures. Looks like you had a great day!
When I was growing up in Michigan we cut down our tree quite often. Even now we always get a real one though, you have to support the Christmas tree farmers (a lot of them are in Michigan).
Now you need to sit if front of a fireplace drinking hot cocoa!
We had such an awesome time with you guys on Thursday night & Friday! Mike & I were saying that we should make a tradition of it!
