My Summer Blossoms

My my, summer is here, a season that would normally come and go with out much regard but now that Madelyn is in elementary school the words "summer break" take on a whole new meaning.  

So my 1st born is now a 1st grader and she's also tap dancing in her first recital this coming Saturday.  This week is action packed with extra rehearsals and 2 stage performances in complete costume, hair and make-up... ugh!  So even though Madelyn IS on summer break, it won't feel official until this recital is over.   Other than that I've been getting organized for Miss Mikayla's upcoming birthday.  My 2nd born turns 2 in 9 days!  Here's a rare picture of a cuddly sister moment.  It didn't last long, thankfully I had my camera handy so I was able to capture it!
