It's that time again! Maddy has been taking ballet & tap for 3 years and every June is recital time! Maddy & I prepare all Winter & Spring for it. She does the work, I chauffeur & pay for it... but we absolutely love it. Maddy has a dreamy, artistic personality so dancing is something she really enjoys it, and because I danced through my school years I love creating these memories with her.
Like the years before, Mike's Dad took pictures during the recital. There's no flash photography allowed, he's the only one who has a camera that will take clear pictures. Here's the link for the pictures of her performance.
Grandma K was in town for Maddy's recital this year. She & I had tickets to the matinee.
For the night show, I volunteered again backstage. Here's Maddy getting a twisted balloon from our friend Launa. We met when our daughters were in vpk together 4 years ago. She can twist anything & everything, she also does magic & face painting. (If anyone is interested in hiring her for a party or event, let me know!)

Let summer vacation officially begin! No more school or dance until August!
