It's only 20 days till Christmas and of course Madelyn is enjoying all kinds of fun activities and Christmasy projects at school. This week her class made gingerbread houses! First, the kids mixed their batter and rolled it out. After the gingerbread pieces were baked, they constructed their houses. Then on Thursday, Maddy and her classmates took a walking field trip to the Culinary Department at the High School next door to decorate them. Friday, she got to bring it home!
It looks and smells delicious but I'm a bit afraid to taste it!

What a cute house, she really did a good job on it. She's adorable in that photo. That's nice they got to see the Culinary Department at the high school.
